Take Good Care of My Heart –
ACMC Cardiac Catheterization Lab Campaign
Heart disease is the leading cause of death – in men and women – in Ashtabula County. Ohio Department of Health
One of today’s most effective tools in diagnosing and treating heart disease is a cardiac catheterization. Each year hundreds of Ashtabula County residents just like you must leave home because Ashtabula County does not have this tool.
What is a cardiac catheterization?
A cardiac catheterization is an imaging procedure used to obtain detailed information about your heart - including blockages and muscle function - through x-ray movies of your valves, coronary arteries and heart chambers. A safe and effective tool used to diagnose heart disease, cardiac catheterization is carried out all over the world on an outpatient basis.
Ashtabula County Medical Center wants to provide you the best in healthcare services. With your generous support, we can bring this vital service to you here at home.
Who benefits?
You, your grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, wife, husband, sister, brother, friend. While heart disease typically strikes as we grow older, it does not discriminate based on age, race, or gender.
Ashtabula County Medical Center is the only full service hospital providing healthcare to over 100,000 Ashtabula County residents. Help us serve you.
